Patrick Hayes

As a young man, Patrick was the first in his family to graduate from college. He went with the intention of playing professional basketball in the NBA. However, he was cut from the team in his sophomore year and had to make a crucial decision: whether to stay and complete his degree or return home to Brooklyn, NY, defeated.
Throughout his life, sports have guided his journey via the principles of perseverance, teamwork, sportsmanship, and integrity. Basketball specifically, afforded him the opportunity to attend college at an HBCU, Central State University, in Wilberforce, Ohio.
The principles Patrick learned from his basketball training allowed him to persevere and complete his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. This decision set the course for the rest of his life. Patrick continued to play basketball and baseball for 3 decades and also coached and led basketball tournaments for athletes of all ages. Because of his love and appreciation of the game, Patrick is looking to remain engaged in the game that has assisted him in developing into the man he is today. Inspired to offer that same opportunity for growth and development to all.
